MEET THE TEAM

TEAM PRINCIPAL : Peter Cadle

“Life long petrol head and engineer”

With a life long interest in all things mechanical, Pete won a Mechanical Technicians Apprenticeship with precision engineers, Molins. The experience gained quickly allowed him to successfully build his own stage rally cars in his late teens and beyond.

Following many events and the career highlight of lying third overall in a national, the inevitable major crash occurred in 1992. Rallying ended but fortunately life didn’t.

Pete then continued his passion for machines in aviation as this seemed “a lot safer”. He took up gliding and became an instructor for some years until retirement in 2016.
All along cars and motor sport were never far away “You can take the man out of the car, but you can’t take the car out of the man”.

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN : Tom Hollyer

“Second in command”

Like so many of us, Tom has been a Car Enthusiast from birth.

We were fortunate enough to recruit him at the end of 2020, having now completed his Heritage Engineering Course with Heritage Skills Academy, he has risen to number 2 in the business, being hands on in all aspects.

On a daily basis, Tom is deeply involved with the constantly varying projects in the workshop, as well as client liaison and vehicle care in the storage department.

Although Tom is a big fan of the 90s Japanese & German Marques - he has acquired a taste for vintage cars after joining our team, unfortunately for him, his preferred examples would take a lottery win to own :(

AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN : Ben Ashton

“The Perfectionist”

With an eye for presentation, Ben studied product design at Coventry University before winning a prized apprenticeship at a renowned Aston Martin specialist. During this period we became acquainted as he joined Tom at Heritage Skills Academy, subsequently (both) placing in the top 10 for Octane’s Class of .21 “Apprentice of the year” award.
July 2023, saw Ben seeking new surroundings and challenges, subsequently joining the team.

Immediately allying with Tom, projects are moving forward beyond our expectations, with a new found scene of enthusiasm.

MEDIA, PR AND EVERYTHING ELSE : Gemma Cadle

“The Creative One”

Gemma looks after our admin, PR and media, and may be your first point of call when contacting us.

With a background in The Arts, she has a varied portfolio: from dance & painting through to videography & website design (including this one).

Although her car knowledge isn’t as “up-to-scratch” as the rest of the team, we believe her enthusiasm makes up for it. This genuine interest led her to the purchase of a 1969 FJ40 which she will be involved in preparing to hit the roads in 2023.
